Awesome Arv

Full-color illustrations for "Awesome Arv," a children's book written by independent author Carol Beane.

Arv is a curious, big-hearted boy who loves experimenting with bubbles, blowing up bigger, stronger, and stranger bubbles than anyone thought possible. Character designs were developed from real-life reference photos to keep Arv's likeness true to the toddler who inspired him, while still giving him an expressive, storybook-ready look.

I also designed the cover, placed the text on the spreads and prepared for printing.
